How to install RACE impeller

Here’s how to safely install your new RACE impeller in just a few simple steps, using the tools you already have on hand.
Step 1: Remove the nozzle
Rotate the nozzle clockwise to remove it from the Jet assembly.
Step 2: Secure the impeller
Use a cloth or towel to hold the impeller firmly. This protects your hand and provides grip for the next step.
Step 3: Remove the nut
With a 13mm socket tool, loosen and remove the impeller nut.
Step 4: Remove the impeller
Gently pull the impeller off the shaft. Take care not to damage the internal components.
Step 5: Remove the pin
Remove the pin from the shaft before fitting the RACE impeller.
Pro tip: keep the impeller pin horizontal before removing. This will ensure the impeller pin does not fall out upon reinstallation.
Step 6: Install the new RACE impeller
Place the new impeller pin into position. Slide the RACE impeller onto the shaft, then reassemble in reverse order. Make sure all components are secure before your next ride.
After installation, double check that the impeller spins freely and that all fittings are tight. You are now ready for eye-watering speed on your precision racing machine.
RACE impeller is sold separately as an upgrade or comes standard with RACE. It is compatible with Flite Jet 2 and not compatible with the original Flite Jet.
